The vocational sector
Beyond the universities, institutes of technology and polytechnics deliver practical diplomas and certificates. This sector is being restructured through 2026 as the former Te Pūkenga network is disestablished and polytechnics return to regional governance — programs continue, but check the current provider name when applying.
